Portrait of Gillian in the Miami Rain

This portrait was taken of Gillian in the rain during the Miami Summer. Typically photographers avoid the rain but when it happens as often as it does Miami a photographer learns to embrace it.

Autumn in Mask: Miami Fashion Photographer

As a Miami fashion photographer it is my personal desire to display any interesting or unique idea in fashion that seems to be a part of the area. Everyone knows that Miami is great for shooting beauties on the beach but that is sort of an out-dated view to have of this place. ThereĀ are a variety of creative and artistic events happening here that are not displayed on the E! Network. For a look into the Miami art scene check out the Miami Art Guide.

Jamaican Rooftop Nest & Sunset

Bird's nest on a rooftop in Jamaica
Bird's nest on a rooftop in Jamaica

This photograph was taken during an assignment in Jamaica. I wanted to bring a memory back to Miami that was personal and unique to my visit to the Island of Jamaica. This moment was what I was looking for and also proved that I could get cool snapshots with my “point and shoot” canon G-10. In some aspects this camera has the ability to make me a better photographer. For instance, when I am on vacation and the purpose of my trip is not photography, it is nice to be able to shoot on a properly tweaked automatic mode so I am not distracted by technical aspects of photography and can focus on the people or atmosphere around me.

This photograph was taken of Greg Norman Jr. during a sunset kiteboarding session in Miami’s Crandon Park. Greg recently became a Cabrinha team rider and needed some photographs to showcase this new status. This was the First image used in Tom Clark’s Photo of the Week.
